10U ELITE Open the 2024 season right where they left off in 2023

Where else would you get crispy 50 degree mornings and sunny, 70 degree afternoons at the ballpark in January? Fountain Hills, Arizona you most certainly can! What an awesome opening weekend from our 10U ELITE….The Boys hit the field this weekend in perfect conditions for their first of 9 tournaments in the 2024 Spring season. The boys enter the new season after taking a 6-week break from playing 21 ballgames and 100+ innings of baseball in the Fall. 12 of the 20 team wins came by way of run rule . So you can imagine, the boys were eager to hit the field and didn’t seem to flinch when down 3 in the 3rd of Sunday’s semifinal matchup. The 10U ELITE collected 40 hits in the 4 ballgames combined and swept the weekend going a perfect 4-0 onward to a good first weekend back in action. Eli Rodriguez blasted his 6th round tripper of the year to move into a Tie for the AEBA ELITE Program lead with 12U ELITE, Caleb Uretzky. Our 10U boys added a total of 17 innings on the diamond and scored 40 runs. The 17 runs allowed is the most this 2023-2024 year but was to be expected after getting some great time off over Winter Break.

The 10U ELITE will hit the field again on Tuesday and indoors with film study on Wednesday before being back in action with a Double Header Matchup with the Scottsdale based 11U Orangedale Baseball team on Friday, February 10th at La Casa. We are looking forward to these ballgames with other local programs like Orangedale from our recent partnership with AZ Play Ball. This partnership will forge many core memories and more situational awareness instances for our younger athletes by providing them an additional 12 full ball games over the length of the Spring season.

10U ELITE sweep the weekend moving to 24-1 in their first 25 ball games in the 10U Program.
